This course provides required training and evaluation for individuals seeking to operate powered industrial trucks in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178 standards. Participants learn safe forklift operation, equipment inspections, load handling, stability principles, hazard recognition, pedestrian awareness, and employer/operator responsibilities. The program includes classroom instruction, hands-on practical training, and an operator performance evaluation. Upon successful completion, participants receive an XO Safety Forklift Operator certificationverifying qualification to operate forklifts in construction, warehouse, and industrial environments.
Annual Requirement: OSHA requires operators to be re-evaluated at least every three (3) years and whenever an operator is observed operating unsafely, involved in an accident or near miss, assigned a different type of equipment, or when workplace conditions change.
