Site Safety Traning (SST)

 The New York City Department of Buildings SST 32-Hour Supervisor Upgrade from SST 10 Worker course is designed for individuals who currently hold a valid SST Worker card and are seeking to upgrade to an SST Supervisor card. This 22-hour upgrade course provides advanced construction safety training focused on supervisory responsibilities, hazard recognition, fall prevention, worker protection, supported scaffold safety, and regulatory compliance in accordance with NYC DOB and applicable OSHA standards. Successful completion of this course allows eligible participants to satisfy the additional training requirements necessary to obtain an SST Supervisor card.

SST 32 Upgrade – Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for an SST 32 Upgrade  under New York City Department of Buildings (Local Law 196), workers must:

-Hold a valid SST 10 HR Worker card

-Hold a valid OSHA 30 Construction industry
