Site Safety Traning (SST)

The SST 10 Worker course is a New York City Department of Buildings approved training program designed for construction workers entering or working on NYC job sites. This course focuses on essential personal safety knowledge to help workers recognize hazards, follow site safety rules, and work safely in compliance with DOB regulations.

The training covers fundamental construction safety topics including OSHA construction safety principles, hazard identification and prevention, personal protective equipment (PPE), fall protection awareness, and general job site safety practices. Successful completion contributes toward meeting NYC SST requirements and eligibility for an SST Worker card.

This course is ideal for general construction workers and trade workers who are required to carry an SST Worker card.

The SST 32 Supervisor course is a New York City Department of Buildings approved training program intended for construction supervisors with responsibility for site safety oversight on regulated NYC job sites. This course is designed for individuals who must manage safety compliance, enforce site safety plans, and protect workers under their supervision.

The training provides advanced instruction in construction safety principles, hazard recognition and prevention, OSHA construction standards, and supervisory safety responsibilities. Topics include fall prevention, accident prevention, safety management practices, and the role of supervisors in maintaining safe work environments.

Successful completion contributes toward meeting NYC SST Supervisor requirements and eligibility for an SST Supervisor card. This course is appropriate for foremen, superintendents, site safety coordinators, and other supervisory personnel.
