NASP HAZWOPER

This OSHA-compliant 8-hour annual refresher course is required for workers who previously completed 24- or 40-Hour HAZWOPER training and are engaged in hazardous waste operations, emergency response, or work with hazardous substances. The training reviews key OSHA HAZWOPER safety standards, hazard recognition, personal protective equipment (PPE), decontamination, emergency procedures, and other topics needed to maintain competency and compliance under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120. Upon successful completion, participants receive a certificate to document annual refresher compliance. 

Training is delivered by NASP-qualified instructors, and successful completion earns a certificate documenting compliance with the initial HAZWOPER training requirement.

This OSHA-required 40-hour HAZWOPER Supervisor training prepares supervisors, competent persons, and safety managers to oversee hazardous waste operations and emergency response activities in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120. The course covers hazard recognition, site safety and health planning, personal protective equipment (PPE), air monitoring, decontamination procedures, emergency response coordination, and the supervisory responsibilities necessary to protect workers in hazardous environments. Training is delivered by NASP-qualified instructors, and successful completion provides a certificate documenting compliance with OSHA supervisor training standards. 

Annual Requirement: Supervisors must complete an 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher each year to maintain qualification and site eligibility.
