Concrete Safety Manager

This DOB-approved 8-hour refresher training is required for Concrete Safety Managers in New York City to maintain their qualification. The course reviews current NYC DOB Building Code (including Chapter 33), recent Local Laws and standards, OSHA construction safety requirements, hazard recognition, and safe practices for large-scale concrete operations. Upon successful completion, participants receive a certificate accepted by the NYC DOB for Concrete Safety Manager renewal.

It provides comprehensive instruction on NYC Construction Codes (especially concrete-related provisions), OSHA safety standards, hazard recognition, safe concrete handling and placement practices, and overall concrete operations management on major building projects where 2,000 cubic yards or more of concrete are placed. Successful completion provides a certificate accepted by the NYC DOB as part of the Concrete Safety Manager license application.
