Course Description: This Course is a requirement for an individual to use or work on a Suspended Scaffold in NYC. Many of the topics that will be covered in this course include; introduction to suspended scaffolds (types & major components) OSHA 1926 overview (PPE & lifesaving equipment) Hoist, platform & rigging Equipment Practices. From Pre-Start, Scaffold operation to shut down, students will understand the safety checklists necessary. They will also become prepared for any anticipated emergency situations and procedures.
